Dental Veneers in Texas
Get custom-made dental veneers
Do you suffer from chipped, misaligned, gapped, stained, discolored, or otherwise misshapen teeth? You don’t have to suffer anymore. Dental veneers can give you a new look and fix damaged teeth
Dental veneers are thin, custom-made porcelain shells placed over existing teeth to improve the look of your most visible teeth.
Our dentists will use a thin piece of porcelain used to recreate the natural look of your teeth. The veneers also provide additional strength and resilience comparable to natural tooth enamel.
Medico M.D. we can create custom veneers that perfectly conform to the contour of your mouth and attach them to your existing teeth during a series of in-office procedures.
Why should I get veneers?
If you suffer from any of the conditions that we listed above, veneers might be the right solution for you. They are long-lasting and aesthetically added to your smile. Additionally, veneers are difficult to stain, which makes them a popular choice for people seeking a bright, white smile.
Veneers are also a less invasive alternative option compared to crowns or dental implants. They can also be used to connect gaps or fix minor misalignments. They are also flexible as a cosmetic option to enhance the brightness of your teeth or to straighten your smile.
How are the veneers installed?
This will typically require two appointments to Medico M.D.
First, your dentist will clean the tooth and determine the correct shade. Then, the dentist will extract a tiny amount of your tooth enamel to make room for placement. An impression of your teeth will then be taken.
A laboratory will receive the impression and mold the veneer. While this occurs, you will receive a temporary veneer. Once the permanent veneer is crafted the temporary one is removed, and your teeth are cleaned. This porcelain shell will be etched, rinsed with water, and dried. The liquid adhesive is placed, and a light is used to cure it once everything is precisely positioned. The light cure takes around one minute on all surfaces to properly attach it to your tooth structure. Your dentist will remove any extra adhesive material and polish the sides.
